WESCOSA entered the power distribution market in 1976 as a small-scale panel boards and switchboards assembler. Gradually, WESCOSA spread its wings by adding various electrical distribution products to its manufacturing scope. While expanding its production capabilities and specialties, WESCOSA entered into license agreement with leading US based companies to use their technology for development in some cases , and for others the design and technology was developed indigenously.

Since its formation, as a manufacturing Company, WESCOSA has experienced remarkable growth and the most considerable success that it has achieved during the past years has currently labeled it to be a leader in the electrical industry.

WESCOSA has been an active supplier for Saudi Electric Company in all regions, Electricity Corporation, Royal Commission, Saudi Aramco, Local civil contractors and various customers in the Kingdom.

Wide range of products ranging from Power transformers, Low and Medium voltage switchgear, Motor Control Centers, Low and Medium Voltage Busducts were supplied for the above projects. Apart from the supply of equipment, the installation, commissioning and energizing task was also performed by our Services team.

Oil filled distribution transformers of different ratings and voltage class have been supplied to SEC-East, SEC-West, SEC-South, SEC-Central, the Electricity Corporation for their various needs and requirements of different electrification projects.

As part of its quest to find new horizons in the existing and upcoming market, WESCOSA has successfully enrolled itself as a frontline supplier in the Iraqi development project. The current participation involves supply of power transformers and the pursuit continues to extend WESCOSA participation in the developmental project by supplying other products.
