Indoor metal-clad switchgears

We offer indoor metal-clad vacuum switchgear that are completely designed and built according to NEMA/ANSI standards. Circuit breakers used in our product meet ANSI maximum symmetrical ratings. The switchgear itself is custom designed to meet customer requirements. Customers may chose between one-high or two-high structures or a combination of both to meet their electrical and space needs. Our equipment is available in the following voltage ratings: 4.16, 7.2, and 13.8kV, and with ampacities of 1200, 2000 and 3000 amperes.

Indoor metal-enclosed motor controllers

The indoor medium voltage motor controllers manufactured at WESCOSA provide complete flexibility by precisely matching a wide range of industrial motor ratings. We offer a wide range of designs, whether one unit or a complete line-up. Uniformity of design throughout the motor controller line allows the use of the optimum rating for each application within a plant, with no mixed equipment problems. The variety of optional features in the motor controller allow a user to obtain a controller unit that exactly meets each load's specification and control requirement. We offer 400 ampere and 800 ampere rated units, with voltages up to 7.2 kV.

Metal Clad Vacuum IEC Switchgear

WESCOSA produces also switchgear that is designed to IEC standards. The available ratings are 17.5 kV, 630-2500 A with a 25 kA symmetrical interrupting capability for 3 seconds.

Busducts

Custom designed indoor and outdoor busducts are engineered, designed, built and tested at our facility in strict accordance with the latest edition of ANSI standard C37.23. WESCOSA busducts are available at ratings up to 15kV, and from 1200 through 6000 ampere.

Cable Bus

WESCOSA Cable-Bus system provide a flexible and cost effective method for transporting power. Typical installations range from 800 to 8000 amperes with
voltages upto 15kV. Our unique design provides continuous conductors in free air, braced to withstand large momentary short circuit forces. The rigidly maintained phase-spacing allows optional phasing arrangements that minimize losses..

Alliances

WESCOSA has been licensed by Powell Electrical Manufacturing Company, Houston, TX, USA, since 1992 to locally manufacture medium voltage metal-clad switchgear.

WESCOSA has also been licensed by UNIBUS, a subsidiary of Powell Industries, Ohio, USA, since 1992 to locally manufacture non-segregated busducts.

WSCOSA is licensed by MP-HUSKY, USA to produce Cable Bus locally.

WESCOSA has also developed and certified through NV Kema a medium voltage motor controller using the Allen-Bradley Vacuum Contactor.
